China prep
hey guys, how exciting another prac is over! For my rural prac I am going to china to work with kids with cerebral palsy which I am really looking forward too! We have a lot of preparation to do before we go so will be spending the next few weeks trying to learn some mandarin and refresh my knowledge of cerebral palsy. Just wondering if anyone could suggest some good books or resources about assessment and treatment techniques to help me with my study. Ive had a look through my old neuro notes but dont have a lot of info! Thanks guys, enjoy the week off!

Hey hun,
Yay not long before Shanghai! Good luck with the Mandarin lessons hey they will be crazy! OK i'm looking around too for resources...I just finished my prac at PMH and was chatting to one of the physios and she recommended the book "Care of the Disabled Village child" apparently it's what to do when all you have is a stick and a ball of string! haha so that might be worth a look. I know that CPA have heaps of resources, so maybe give them a call and see if you can photocopy some stuff? just an idea...I'll keep a look out too and keep you posted!
